SHARON HEGARTY, DIRECTOR - MARKETING
Sharon has fifteen years' experience of marketing and branding, specialising in new media, mobile telecoms, mobile music and entertainment. Her unique innovative approach has helped drive brand awareness and equity, customer acquisition and loyalty, resulting in increased profitability and business growth.
Her main strengths lie within through-the-line marketing communications, sponsorship and partnership development. Since starting Hannah Joseph, Sharon has consulted across a number of clients including; Atlantic Records, Warner Bros, Warner Music, and LG Mobile Europe and UK. Having worked across network operators, handset manufacturers and content owners, Sharon understands the challenges and opportunities across these converging industries and is able to develop marketing strategies and programmes to meet their business needs and objectives.
Sharon was one of the team which launched the brand and marketing for mobile network 3, the largest telecom launch in the last decade, resulting in Marketing Society Excellence Awards and Superbrands Cool Brand Leader Awards. Within four years of launch, 3 had attracted nearly four million customers to the world’s first 3G network. Sharon’s greatest experience at 3 has been in developing multi-million pound marketing campaigns, developing the brand partnership and sponsorship strategy and the management of cross functional internal and external teams, agencies and content partners.
Sharon has successfully sold-in multi-million pound marketing strategies to senior management, CEOs and senior stakeholders, as well as working on media and creative agency pitches. While heading up sponsorship, Sharon created and implemented 3’s long-term sponsorship strategy and brand experience programme. Sharon also developed the first advertised funded TV programme by a mobile operator partnered with Channel 4 and MTV and music programme the 3 Download Chart Show with Kiss100. She now has an extensive network of contacts throughout the music, media and entertainment industries.
Prior to working at 3, Sharon was Head of Marketing for Commtouch Ltd where she developed the international marketing communications and distribution strategy plan and managed a marketing team across the United States, the UK and Israel. Sharon has also held various marketing roles with international telecoms and media companies, including Vodafone and United Media.
PHIL REGAN, DIRECTOR - FINANCE
Phil has over fourteen years' as either Finance or Managing Director. He has worked within cooperates and SME adding value through his approach to unique transactions. Phil has succeeded in all areas of change management from IPO, fundraising M&A and restructuring or re-organisation. Phil has adapted his passion for technology, media and broadcasting companies to create a strong record of Change Management in its various forms.
Phil’s team has help raise $1.2 billion for his clients. He has controlled and directed the merger of two acquisitions into an existing division to produce a focused robust company with $60 million revenue within two years. Phil has also directed the start-up of a US division, which produced $9 million in revenue within twelve months of creation. Devised the roll out of this model across three European Countries
Phil has also acted as Managing Director for a technology company turning its loss into break even in 12 months through re-organisation, repositioning and increasing of the revenue by 300%. Phil then identified a buyer and sold the company at a profit for the shareholders
Another challenging role involved re-organisation of a research company to a competitive commercial structure by addressing all HR, facilities, systems and branding issues. These actions resulted in increased public awareness, greater employee morale, and interest in the new product sets produced.
